After high school, I spent most of my time away from home - from Sydney to London , Paris and now The Hague . After years of working in financial institutions, I had a sudden yearning for change, to explore and discover. I took a year's sabbatical, left the security and comfort of my job and spent some time in Paris learning French. I then went back to spend time with the family. It was during this time that I came to discover my passion for cooking. I was very lucky to be able to continue pursuing my passion when I came over to The Hague to join my husband. Having no real need to work, I had so much free time that I thought I should put it to better use, so I decided to pick up baking. Backed by my husband's encouragement and support, I found myself a baking course. Two months later, I was in this little town south of France , taking my first glimpse into the secrets of French pastry. Love it! I have been trying, exploring and perfecting my baking since. It makes me happy to know that my pastries make people happy, there's still so much more to learn and discover...
